Substrate/Sample Separation (add-on)
Substrate/Sample Separation is an add-on to your Lead Testing Kits.
What is it?
This is a great add-on when you want to test the paint but it is too well-adhered to the substrate – the timber, render, concrete, etc – and you can only cut a paint sample which has substrate stuck to it.
The lab uses fine instruments under a microscope to separate paint from the substrate (eg timber, concrete) so the substrate doesn’t dilute the paint lead result.
Steps?
- Simply select which Lead Testing Kit you’d like – 1-Sample, 2-Sample or 8-Sample
- Purchase as many Substrate/Sample Separation add-ons that you think you’ll need. You can always return to the shop during the actual paint sampling and purchase this Add-on later, as needed.
- Note which sample you’d like to use this add-on for on your chain of custody (document you email us once you’ve completed collecting your samples)
