Fluoride Analysis (add-on)
Fluoride Analysis can be included for your water sample when testing for lead. Include this in your order so our lab can analyse your sample for both lead and fluoride.
Steps:
- Select which Lead Testing Kit you’d like (we recommend analysing a minimum of 2 samples when testing water) – 1-Sample, 2-Sample or 8-Sample
- Purchase as many fluoride add-ons that you’d like.

Fluoride is added to our water supplies to protect our teeth.
However, there is much debate as to whether or not it is actually helpful and if drinking fluoride offers any benefits to our teeth.
It is for these reasons, amongst others, that people choose water filters to remove it.
Testing for fluoride from tap water and comparing it to water from your fluoride filter will show you how effective your filter is in removing fluoride.
If you don’t yet have a fluoride filter, you can test for fluoride in your mains water in order to decide if you want to get a fluoride filter.
Alternatively, remove all lead from your rainwater collection area and install lead-free piping, tank and pump and a stainless steel tap and switch to rainwater.
